In My Mailbox (27)

"In My Mailbox" is a meme, created by Kristi at The Story Siren, that features books I have
received/ purchased/ borrowed during the week. 

Hi guys! *waves* Spring is here I am so happy - it's a BIG deal in Canada! We had awesome weather all week (2 weeks ago it was snowing and this week we had beach weather... yeah). I just hope it lasts. So, HUNGER GAMES!? Did you all see it? I went to the midnight showing and I was blown away! It's honestly the best book to movie I've seen and definitely one that I will watch over and over (which I rarely do). The cast was perfect; every single one of them was just like I pictured and fit the roles perfectly. Really I could go on and on, I was incredibly impressed.

So I've got a couple highlights on the blog to mention this week, first I had a cover reveal for Cataclysm by Karice Bolton which you can see here. I've also got a new giveaway happening for the last book of my favorite series - As the World Dies by Rhiannon Frater - so you obviously have to check it out: enter here.

  20. Just finished Immortal Rules! It was amazing! Now I'm reading Dark Kiss. It's very good too. I love Michelle Rowen. Pretty When She Dies has a very freaky cover. I like it.

  21. I loved the Hunger Games, too! Though I didn't manage to go to the midnight screening, I did go see it the day it came out - I even left school early to see it! xD

  38. The Immortal Rules!! I got it too and I am reading it right now. I love the cover for Pretty When She Dies! It's freaking amazing. I have heard the book is super awesome too. I saw THG for the second time last night and loved it just as much as the first time. I swear when it come out on BluRay I am going to watch it over and over lol!!

    And I totally agree with you on HG!!! But did you cry as much as you did for the book?? I didn't. I just wasn't as moved as I was for the book ~ maybe I expected too much? My prozac was too strong, who knows!

    Dark Kiss sounds great! I have some Michelle Rowen on TBR to read if I ever get there. And of course, Immortal Rules, niiiiiiice!

  71. THE IMMORTAL RULES! :D Haha, I think that's in everyone's mailbox this week; it was just impossible not to request. And Dark Kiss! I actually had not heard of that one before I saw it in all these IMMs, but the cover is gorgeous, so if people enjoy it, I may have to request it.

    Also, you're really tempting me to check out any of Rhiannon Frater's books that are published in hardback or paperback. I don't think I've seen you so in love with an author ever before, so that alone makes me want to read them.
