Rhiannon’s Website / Goodreads / Facebook / Twitter

Rhiannon Frater is the award-winning author of the As the World Dies trilogy (The First Days, Fighting to Survive, Siege,) and the author of three other books: the vampire novels Pretty When She Dies and The Tale of the Vampire Bride and the young-adult zombie novel The Living Dead Boy and the Zombie Hunters. Inspired to independently produce her work from the urging of her fans, she published The First Days in late 2008 and quickly gathered a cult following. She won the Dead Letter Award back-to-back for both The First Days and Fighting to Survive, the former of which the Harrisburg Book Examiner called ‘one of the best zombie books of the decade.’ Rhiannon is currently represented by Hannah Gordon of the Foundry + Literary Media agency.

    I must simply not be persuaded to buy any more…damn….the books I just ordered will get here Tuesday. :\ I swear I’m going to go broke!

    Fantastic post as usual Giselle! 😀

  2. margie c {the bumble girl}

    I wish I could get all of them! I’m leaning towards Whisper and Ascend, got to keep up with the series books 🙂 I might have to throw in The Immortal Rules? Masque of the Red Death? Purity? Ugh, I can’t decide which to get first, help! lol!
    Thanks for the list 🙂 Happy reading!!!

  3. Kathy Ann Coleman

    Oh. My. God. I’m so glad I have money sitting here and waiting to be used for a book shopping spree or I’d want to cry right now. I’ve still got to think, though. I have a tendency to buy more books then I can read. This week could organize my reading for weeks. :O 😀 🙂

    What books have my attention?

    — The Selection: I’ve wanted to read this since the first time I heard about it. I’m very curious to see what I’ll think and to share my thoughts.

    — Thumped: Bumped was one of the first books I reviewed, back when I bought my first batch of books for I Write, I Read, I Review. I want to know the rest of the story!

    — Storm: It’s a book with guys who wield the elements. Sorta scares me, since there are element themes in my own work. But it also compels me to read it. (And if it hadn’t, your review would have. *laughs*) Once again, anxious to see what I think.

    — Masque of the Red Death: I am really intrigued. I love the cover. The premise has my attention. So I’ll need to get this and check it out.

    — Purity: I love Jackson Pearce so seeing what she’ll do with this book is just a natural decision for me. It sounds like it should be a fun and interesting read.

    — The Immortal Rules: It’s Julie Kagawa, with a dystopian that has vampires (nice blend there)… What’s not to love?

    Now I’m torn … Buy from Amazon.ca and get them faster, or buy them from Book Depository and save money? Plus, I’m going to Chapters & Build-a-Bear today for that “late birthday” thing my brother is doing for me. So yeah, this week it looks like I’m getting spoiled. *laughs*

    Anyway, hope you’re having a great week!

  4. Danny
