In My Mailbox (28)

Posted by

“In My Mailbox” is a meme, created by Kristi at The Story Siren, that features books I have

received/ purchased/ borrowed during the week.

Hi ladies and gents! I just got back from my second viewing of the Hunger Games and it was just as amazing, and now I’m in a super mood! 😀 So what happened this week? I had the blog tour for Someone Else’s Life drop by for my review and a really fun interview here. I also received two copies of The Calling as you can see below, so I’m hosting a giveaway for the 2nd copy : enter here.

This week, I got for review (click on cover or title link for Goodreads):

The Calling by Kelley Armstrong (Giveaway for the 2nd copy HERE.)
*BIG Thank You to Random House Canada, Random House Children’s Books, St. Martin’s Press, Spencer Hill Press, Rhiannon Frater, Entangled Publishing and HarperCollins for these wonderful review copies!*
Also, I bought:
Tada!! More Rhiannon Frater! Would you believe!? (There’s one above too) BlookGirl Katie Someone I won’t name called me a groupie, which is totally false *takes out stalker binoculars*, she’s just jealous of my reading of awesomeness and book pimp abilities!
Week of insanity!
 What’s in your haul, lovelies?
Leave me a link! 🙂

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Have I mentioned lately how much I <3 your face?! You may be a stalker groupie, but you're still pretty amazing 😉

Nice haul this week, Giselle! I am SO insanely jealous that you received Masque of the Red Death! I really hope you enjoy it, and I can’t wait to see what you think 🙂 I saw Velveteen on NetGalley but wasn’t sure if it was my kind of read. Maybe I’ll reconsider once I read your future review.

Hope you enjoy all your lovelies! <333 ::leaves pepper spray for Rhiannon::

Very nice! Glad to see this week was so good to you. 🙂 I really want to read Flirting In Italian and Masque of the Red Death. I also need to get going on the Trylle books. I have the first two sitting here and haven’t had a chance to get to them yet.

Anyway, I hope the new week is just as great. 🙂 Happy reading!

What an awesome haul! I requested Unspoken so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I can’t wait for Something Strange and Deadly to come out. I recently read Masque of the Red Death, and thought it was interesting. I think Poe fans will appreciate it.

Haha Do you have an idea where to start? Those books look awesome! I still have to catch up with the Tylle series!

I’m just reading Unraveling right now and it’s awesome! I’m not sure about flutter so I’m looking forward seeing your thoughts about that one!

You have Untouched! Why must you have it and I not??!! xD Needless to say I am jealous that you have Untouched. I just finished reading Touch and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Unspoken sounds so good! But I think I have too much in my tbr pile already to really be able to justify requesting it. I’m part way through reading The Book Of Blood And Shadow at the moment and I love it, but that’s the 2nd time today I’ve seen it with this cover, and have to say, I really don’t like that one. It just makes it look kind of boring I think, especially compared to the cover on the UK one!
Is The Calling part of a series? I’ve only read a couple of Kelly Armstrong books, but I really enjoyed them – her ‘Women Of The Otherworld’ series is one I need to come back to sometime.
