In My Mailbox (29)

Posted by

“In My Mailbox” is a meme, created by Kristi at The Story Siren, that features books I have

received/ purchased/ borrowed during the week.

How is everyone this Easter weekend? I hope you’re having a great long weekend. I had a fantastic week, and even though we’re supposed to have a snow storm tonight, I’m definitely feeling the spring season! I love it! So this week on the blog I had a cover reveal on Monday with two fabulous new covers – here – you must check it out if you missed it! I also had the Pure Blog Tour drop by for a short excerpt here. And you can still enter my 2000 Followers Giveaway here for those who may have missed it.

I am really excited for my haul this week, beyond words! Ashen Winter is the sequel to one of my favorite books ever – Ashfall. I squeeed for days when I saw it up on Netgalley. Then I got JL Bryan’s books which I am super excited to continue after reading the awesomeness that is Jenny Pox. And guess who makes yet another appearance!? Hint: LOVE her face!

Let’s see what I got for review this week (click on cover or title links for Goodreads):

When Rhiannon asked me to test read her upcoming zombie novel: The Last Bastion of the Living; obviously, I immediately jumped at the chance (literally!) – and I can promise you it is ALL kinds of awesome. No freaking joke: It’s blowing my MIND! This IMM post is late because of it.
This is another one not to miss, guys! She’s hoping to have it finished for release this summer. Click on the “non-cover” below to add it to your Goodreads!

*Thanks so much to Tanglewood, Flux Books, J.L. Bryan, Kevin Emerson and Rhiannon Frater for these copies*
And of course, I bought this:
Yup, I did. Laugh all you want Katie, she rocks my face! I already read The Tale of the Vampire Bride and I freaking loved it! So much so I needed to get me these gorgeous print copies. My review will be posted soon!

Phew!
What did you get this week?

Okay . . . I really need to get my hands on one of Rhiannon Frater’s books. Because honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so enamored with one author. That alone makes me want to read them all.

Also, Silver! 😀 That one looks so gorgeous. I hope it’s as good as it looks. *-*

    J. L. Bryan sure has been making quite a few ripples in the YA pool, so I’m curious to see what the deal is about his writing, yo. The artwork for some of these are GORGEOUS!

And I AM SO INTRIGUED by Silver, you don’t even know. You should totally let me know if you enjoy it or not 😀
