Stacking the Shelves (8)

Xpresso Weekly is my edition of Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews featuring the books
I got this week, and I also mention blog news/happenings of the past week
.

Note: Starting this week, my Stacking the Shelves posts will go up on Saturdays, and my Fresh Batch will be posted on Sundays

Another week dead and gone, huh? I had a fabulous week. Great weather, awesome food, all that jazz. >.< So this week at Xpresso Reads I had the fabulous Rhiannon (right? It's like she's trying to take over or something!) over on  the blog for the Last Bastion of the Living blog tour where you can read my absolutely giddy review, see Rhiannon's dream cast, and enter to win a copy! I had a bunch of cover reveals, too, in case you missed any: Blood Bond by Heather Hildenbrand, Mind Games by Kiersten White, Crimson Frost by Jennifer Estep, and The Cadet of Tildor by Alex Lidell. I also scheduled a new blog tour - the Circle of Silence - that you can look forward to in July.

Did you miss any reviews this week?

So eeep I did another vlog! I noticed after that I have all the tour dates wrong, so it's obvious that without my blog schedule in front of me I've no idea what's going on. Enjoy! :)

(click on covers or title links below for Goodreads)

I got for review:

*Big thanks to Random House Children's Books, Tor Books, Penguin Young Readers Group, Karice Bolton, and Bewitching Book Tours for the review copies*

I bought:

That is all for me!
What did you get this week?

  4. Another great vlog! So jealous that you got Origin, I wish I had requested it sooner. I totally love that neither of us read blurbs! haha I skim them, and I'm not gonna lie, it HAS gotten me into trouble before, being stuck in a historical that I had no idea was a historical!

    DUALED SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

  5. Awesome VLOG! I'm totally jealous you have Origin. I sent in my request to Edelweiss over a week ago and still have heard NOTHING. I'm wondering if I should resend.

Hoping my approval for Dualed comes in tomorrow. Those indie books you got look really good too. Nice haul this week.

  10. Hi Giselle {waving!!!}
I'm so happy to see that you've decided to continue doing a vlog, you're adorable!
I really enjoyed Susane Colasanti's new book too! I was able to briefly meet her at BEA last week, and I'm excited to say that I'll be seeing her at another signing on Wednesday! I hope to be able to pick up another one of her books (or two, three, lol) too!
Great stack, enjoy them all :)

  13. Okay, first off, can I just reiterate that YOU HAVE THE BEST ACCENT? Because, yeah, you totally do. Also you're just generally super adorable and awesome and you must keep vlogging for us.

And fabulous haul for this week. :D Dualed looks CRAZY good and Elsie is the best, which is actually why I didn't request it--I know I typically enjoy books more when I read them in print. But you have a Kindle, so that's a different story. I hope you love it! Also, I've got very high hopes for Origin. It sounds pretty great, so I'm interested to see how it turns out.

  44. Dualed! I'm squeeing along with you and Elsie! Too bad I just imposed a book request ban on myself because I was having trouble keeping up with everything. The again, it's not going to be released until 2013 so it probably couldn't hurt to request it, right? Haha, I'm already talking myself out of this ban. Meh, I should just go for it because dang, does it sound awesome!

DUALED! I really really want that one. Maybe I'll request it when I get caught up a bit more. EEP. SO excited for you and I loved you waving to Elsie. Isn't she so friendly?

  55. The only author that rings a bell is Sherrilyn Kenyon, but I have never tried the Chronicles of Nick. I did not like him blaming Acheron for what happened that fateful day in New Orleans. However, I do hope this will be a great book for your sake! Happy reading!

Wow, your vlogs are good without editing (or did you edit them, just wondering), unlike my videos, which need lots of editing because I end up saying the wrong things sometimes, plus they end up being too long (since I film my monthly book hauls).

I also got Solstice for a blog tour.
