Waiting on Wednesday (40)

During this terrifying ordeal, Lucian finds himself growing closer to Digory Tycho, a mysterious and rebellious young man who challenges him in ways he couldn’t have dreamed of, and awakens in him the courageous fires of rebellion.

But in a world where loving someone can be used as the ultimate weapon, how can anyone stand a chance?

Ok ok, let's all look past this... glowing... green cover and just focus on the synopsis now, shall we? Freaking awesome, right? Well anyways, I think so. Me - the ultimate post apocalyptic freak. :D

  1. This does actually sound really good but I'm a cover whore, so that would definitely turn me off a little bit. Still think you should have picked Beta Test.

    This one sounds cool, but the cover reminds me of Goosebumps covers lol. I think I would read it, but as an ebook so it doesn't look so ... green ... on my shelf.

    Although, I've got to admit I would never pick up the book by simply looking at that abnormally green cover ! :P

  13. Great pick Giselle. This sounds really good but I'm always a bit hesitant when starting a dystopian. I don't know why, I usually enjoy them. Will be adding this to the TBR. Thanks for sharing

  19. Eep! That cover is... wow. Yeah, I would NOT have picked up the book based on the cover, but the synopsis sounds REALLY exciting - a'la Hunger Games! I will definitely be on the look-out for this one.

  36. The cover is pretty cool! Even though this is the sort of thing I usually like to read... I'm just not that intrigued by it for some reason?? I bet I'll regret that though when everyone is reading this and telling me how amazing it is. :D
