Xpresso Weekly: Stacking the Shelves (39)

Posted by

Xpresso Weekly is my edition of Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews featuring the books I got this week, and I also mention blog news/happenings of the past week.
This week at Xpresso Reads

Hi love muffins! How is everyone’s January coming along? I’ve been keeping busy so it’s flying by for me! Did you catch the new giveaway on the blog this week? πŸ˜‰ You can win a copy of Perfect Scoundrels! Also, I don’t know if you heard about the new plagiarism scandal. You can read all about it here. It’s pretty crappy, and I think everyone should be aware.

Teeth is just amazing, Giselle! It’s very different and a little strange, but the writing is beautiful and the characters just came alive for me. It truly breaks your heart, so I hope you like it! πŸ™‚

Good job on the box set! πŸ™‚ It looks absolutely beautiful in my honest opinion. πŸ™‚ Will check out THAT series, too! Aww, I tried reading The Hunt last year and miserably failed. πŸ™ I think I might be the only one who didn’t enjoy it.. Rules for Disappearing sounds great! Happy reading!

Teeth sounds really interesting, but the reviews have been pretty mixed. I can’t wait to see what you think of it. Rules for Disappearing and The Prey look great too. Awesome haul, Giselle! Love the new designs this week too. πŸ™‚

The Rules for Disappearing looks super good, I look forward to seeing what you think of it. I bet Teeth has a fantastic physical book jacket… is it glittery or shimmery like real fish scales? Great book haul, Giselle. Happy Reading!

Great books! I’ve heard a lot about Teeth, hope you enjoy it πŸ™‚

This is totally off topic, but I was just saying to my husband today that I like the idea of an avatar that comes off the edge of a banner, and asking if he knew how to do it. But I couldn’t find any examples to show him what I meant. Now I was looking through Stacking the Shelves posts and came across yours! Your banner is gorgeous by the way! πŸ™‚ Soz, have blog design on the mind right now. ^^

Have a great week and happy reading! (New follower)

EEK! The Prey sounds really great, but after your comment above, since you hated the Hunt, maybe it’d be better off for a giveaway or something? ;P And I’ve heard fantastic things about Teeth apparently it’s supposed to be REALLY hilarious! Or is that another book? Meh.

    Awesome haul!

The blog design that you did for Kenya is lovely. I really love how dramatic and cozy it is.

Like I said, *coughs* if you need someone to take that sequel to The Hunt off your hands *cough*, let me know. LOL.

I need a vlog from you soon, lady. O_O
