Series: Chaos Theory #1
Publication date: March 18th 2014
by Penguin/InterMix Books

Goodreads Purchase

Evalyn Ibarra never expected to be an accused killer and experimental prison test subject. A year ago, she was a normal college student. Now she’s been sentenced to a month in the compass room—an advanced prison obstacle course designed by the government to execute justice.

If she survives, the world will know she’s innocent.

Locked up with nine notorious and potentially psychotic criminals, Evalyn must fight the prison and dismantle her past to stay alive. But the system prized for accuracy appears to be killing at random.

She doesn’t plan on making friends.

She doesn’t plan on falling in love, either.

  1. Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews

I really want to read several of the books on your list. I’ve already read Maybe Someday, and I enjoyed it – I actually pre-ordered the audio book, because there are two narrators, and there’s music! I want that music.

Thanks for putting all of the new releases in one place. I should probably stay away from those links, lest my one-click habit gets the best of me.

    Have a wonderful weekend, Giselle.

  2. Jen

Wow I just happened to stumble upon this blog and I must say you are really up to date on your YA books! I could never keep up with new releases like you do. Very impressive.

  3. Celine

Thank you SO much for doing this post! It was because of you that I saw that Side Effects May Vary is actually publishing this week. For some reason, I thought it was May 18th. Which means that now I’m going to have to do some serious speed-reading if I want to finish it before it’s publication date, haha. You’re a life saver, because without you, I wouldn’t have been able to read it anymore!

  4. Eileen @ Singing and Reading in the Rain

I won an ARC of Pretty Sly maybe two years ago (it seems so long ago!) before they decided to rerelease it or something like that, but I loved that book, it was so cute and fun! Also I know a lot of people are excited for See Me because I remember Wendy saying that she went through a lot for that book, and the cover is cool. Thanks for sharing Giselle! <33

  5. Kaitlin

I’m really excited for Maybe Someday and See Me! I’ve read amazing books by both authors. 🙂 I’m currently reading Side Effects May Vary, and it’s going really well for me.

  6. Jessica @ Rabid Reads

I can’t wait for The Wicked We Have Done either, and I hadn’t even heard about the new Wendy Higgins book! I just looked it up on goodreads, and it looks like something to keep an eye on (I love Fae).

  7. Pili

I’m super excited for See Me and the final novella in the Magnus Bane collection, and I will not buy any more books cause I went overboard this week!

  8. Milka

I got Side Effects May Vary from Netgalley and really can’t wait to read it soon. Maybe Someday sounds pretty awesome too and seems to be quite liked among the reading community.
