Jenni’s Stacking the Shelves [Aug 24]

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews featuring new additions to our bookshelves.

Hey! It’s been a while since I’ve done a Stacking post! I hadn’t gotten any books when my turn came around last time so I skipped it but I got some goodies for this time around.  I haven’t been doing much reading at all lately, I’ve been renovating my kitchen and it’s that time of year when I actually have a job for a few weeks so I’ve been pretty busy.  Today we are headed to West Edmonton Mall Waterpark with the kiddo’s so I don’t think I’ll get any reading done today either.  With that said I am still adding to the ever growing TBR, here is what I’ve got lately:

STS2

I love finding Costco deals! These ones were super cheap and I am always so happy that they have hardcovers as opposed to paperbacks.  I read Looking For Alaska and I wasn’t a huge fan of it, I was pretty bored actually.  I am hoping to have better luck with An Abundance and Katherine’s and Paper Towns.

STS1

This one showed up in the mail yesterday from Tor. I keep getting sent Gillian Phillip books and I’ve never read one, one day I will have to take a look at the series because I think someone out there really wants me to read it!

What have you added to your shelves lately?

Yay for gorgeous books. <3 I hope you love them all 🙂 But sigh. I didn't like Looking for Alaska either 🙁 not for me. Sigh. Haven't dared to read more books by John yet :p But I own them all. (I did love The Fault in Our Stars so so much :D) ANYWAY. Happy reading sweetie. <3

YAY for cheap books, even more hardcoverrrsss!! I still haven’t read any John Green books so maybe if I find a super cheap deal I will!
Happy reading (and kitchen renovating!) Jenni!

I’m jealous of your John Green books, I’ve only ever read TFiOS. Happy reading!

I still have to try those John Greens. I listened to The Fault in Our Stars on audiobook and have heard that most of his books are good on audiobook so I think I’ll go that route. I’ve heard a lot about Gillian Philip but haven’t read anything of hers either. Happy Reading, Jenni!

Yay for John Green! I really want to read the Abundance of Katherines! Although I’m not the hugest John Green fan, I do enjoy his work and it’d be really cool if I could say I’ve read all his books. Good luck with all your new books!
