Rashika has been tired since 2013. There are very few things that spark joy for her besides a nice cup of tea, warm, baked goods, good books and good TV shows. She is here to pile onto your giant TBRs and to-watch lists. Offer her a cookie and she might be nice to you.

I’m rereading Daughter of Smoke and Bone right now, and it irritates me that the handprint on the UK edition is not burned into the door like they are in the novel :/

It’s interesting to see these side by side though. I’d love to hear from different designers why they went certain ways with the covers.

I generally liked the US versions more! I might be biased though as I live in the UK and have grown to hate our covers! Great post! 🙂

Okay I seemed to be in the minority here when it came to voting Rashika! I always prefer the U.S covers to books maybe because its covers that we don’t get or a expensive to get a hold of. The only U.K cover I liked here was The Daughter of Smoke and Bone, I think it represents the book most accurately, I love the hand print too! Thanks for sharing a great post with us Rashika, you know I love my gorgeous covers!

Oh man. Such hard choices. The only one I am certain on is Patrick Ness’ cover. I definitely like the UK version better. However, the other ones… I like them both. >.<
