About the Author

Elly Blake loves fairy tales, old houses, and owls. After earning a degree in English literature, she held a series of seemingly random jobs, including project manager, customs clerk, graphic designer, and reporter for a local business magazine before finally landing on her current job as a library assistant. She lives in Southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids, and a Siberian Husky mix that definitely shows frostblood tendencies.

    The cover catches my eye every time I see it! I love the last line of the synopsis. It makes me want to read this book even more.

    I really love these covers! I can’t tell which one I love most after I saw what the next one looks like it makes me appreciate the US one a bit more! I did think the ARC cover was pretty cool though, but I guess I can see why they wanted to change it! Therefore I think the UK cover might be my fave because the rose is just sooo pretty!
