This week's hot releases
Fresh Batch features some of the hottest releases this upcoming week. These are exclusively chosen by Giselle.
Flavour of the week:

Stephanie Perkins
Budding designer Lola Nolan doesn’t believe in fashion . . . she believes in costume. The more expressive the outfit -- more sparkly, more fun, more wild -- the better. But even though Lola’s style is outrageous, she’s a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins, Calliope and Cricket, return to the neighborhood.
When Cricket -- a gifted inventor -- steps out from his twin sister’s shadow and back into Lola’s life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door.

There are so many books coming out in the next week that I want. I don't know how I'm going to *read* them all, let alone buy them. I can tell you this much, though. I'm going to be busy!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm SO excited for Lola to come out! But it doesn't release in Chapters (here in Canada) until the fourth of October, so I have to wait a little while before getting my own copy...
ReplyDeleteBUT I'm still super excited to read it! :) The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is also high up on my TBR list!
Thanks so much for sharing the releases of those other books, Giselle! I'm definitely adding them to my wish list, too! :)
I love her purple hair! I also want to read Shifting and Faerie Ring. Ah... I guess I should say all here! LOL
ReplyDeleteMimi - I love in Canada too. You can get it from the Book depository online. It's free shipping and the books are always cheaper than Chapters. Actually, everywhere else is cheaper than Chapters...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer! Reviews have been so good so far and I want to read about Noah because everyone seems to be gushing about him! I also am really excited to read The Name of the Star and Lola and the Boy Next Door.
ReplyDeleteEeep! Mara Dyer and Ashfall! Both fantastic reads!
ReplyDeleteWow! What an awesome week for YA! I'm looking forward to Mara Dyer. I've heard so many mixed reviews. Ashfall is pretty good, I'm reading it right now. It reminds me of Cormac McCarthy's The Road!
