Fresh Batch (September 30th – October 6th)

Posted by

Exclusively titled for Xpresso Reads, Fresh Batch features the hottest releases of this upcoming week.

Flavor of the week:

Stealing Parker
Miranda Kenneally
Publication date: October 1st 2012
by Sourcebooks Fire

Red-hot author Miranda Kenneally hits one out of the park in this return to Catching Jordan’s Hundred Oaks High.

After a scandal rocks their conservative small town, 17-year-old Parker Shelton goes overboard trying to prove that she won’t turn out like her mother: a lesbian. The all-star third-baseman quits the softball team, drops 20 pounds and starts making out with guys–a lot. But hitting on the hot new assistant baseball coach might be taking it a step too far…especially when he starts flirting back.

You can win your very own copy and read my review here!

Miranda’s Website / Goodreads / Facebook / Twitter

Growing up in Tennessee, Miranda Kenneally dreamed of becoming an Atlanta Brave, a country singer (cliché!), or a UN interpreter. Instead she writes, and works for the State Department in Washington, D.C., where George W. Bush once used her shoulder as an armrest. Miranda loves Twitter, Star Trek and her husband.

Woah o_O that is a massive list of releases! I didn’t even know about ‘The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland and Led the Revels There’ by Catherynne M. Valente. I own the first one ”The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of her own Making” but I still haven’t gotten into it yet, so now I’m even more excited 😀 The Mark of Athena is an awesome one too even if I haven’t gotten into the ‘Heroes of Olympus’ yet…

Wow — so many great books!! I don’t know what to comment on first! I do need to get my own copy of The Name of The Star … I like the new covers! And I just read Through to You, which wasn’t bad.

Eve & Adam looks super good AND I have Shatter Me on my shelf that I need to read before getting Destroy Me!

    What a great week!
