Reader Wonderland Giveaway (Canada only)

Posted by

Thanks to the lovely people at Ladbrokes, I have a very special holiday treat for my fellow Canadians. You can not only win 2 James Bond eBooks (I mean, who doesn’t love James Bond?), but you will also get your very own Kindle to read them on! You can then experience the thrill of the casino and the rush of adrenaline that comes with playing poker, without ever leaving your favourite reading spot! How great is that for a Christmas gift? 🙂
A big thanks to Ladbrokes for this giveaway opportunity!
Experience some more thrill online with Ladbrokes here and here!

I think my first purchase would be The Star Dwellers by David Estes. It’s the 2nd in his series, and I have #1 and #3, but not that one!
Thank you Ladbrokes and Giselle! 🙂

What would you do with the Kindle if you won it? Give it away for Christmas? Or keep it for yourself?

Give it away since it is one item on my daughter’s wish list and secondly the school district is moving the library to being ALL digital in the next couple of years…

I actually have a few free ebooks on Kindle Cloud, so maybe those will be the first I read. And then I’d just use it for Netgalley because I prefer getting physical books!

  4. Kathy Ann Coleman

How about Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout? I believe that releases Dec. 11th? Or perhaps Meant To Be by Lauren Morrill? I keep hearing fabulous things about that. Either way, this is a pretty awesome giveaway. 😀

@ Jenni: I just finished Backstage Pass earlier this week and I ***LOVED*** it. Very highly recommended!

Tough decision! Maybe Touch by Jus Accardo, or Firefight in Darkness by Katie Jennings. OR Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout, cuz I’m a huge loser who hasn’t read it yet.

My first purchase would be Under the Mistetoe by Jill Shalvis. I’d want to stock up on Christmas reads 🙂

If I won this Kindle, my co-blogger would have an awesome Christmas present. She has a kobo and I have a kindle. She loves my kindle. We have an extensive shared Amazon library that she can only access on her iphone right now. 🙁 BOOOO I’d probably get lots of hugs from her if I won this. I like hugs.

I am not sure what her purchase would be on this but I think she would start with one of the 300+ we already own! LOL

Pleasssse let me win! But good luck to all contestants too! 🙂

This is so not a fair question. There are literally hundreds of books that I would love to get my hands on. Uummm… so much to choose from. So I guess I will have to go with the friend loyalty. Something by Fred Thurston.

Whoops, I commented first and then read the question. I honestly don’t know what I’d purchase first, since I’ve never owned an e-reader. Perhaps a 2013 release?

My first purchase would be Patricia Cornwell’s latest. Thanks for the chance! Liene @ LLucane at yahoo dot com

Oh my, I have no clue. I guess it would depend on when I received the Kindle. Whatever is new and interesting at the time. Most likely a YA book, as that is also my favourite genre. There are so many books that I want to read! 🙂

Sylvia Day’s books so far have been awesome so I would probably buy one of her new ones. Or you know all of them….
