Flavor of the week:

Gameboard of the Gods
Richelle Mead
Series: Age of X #1
Publication date: June 4th
by Dutton Adult

In a futuristic world nearly destroyed by religious extremists, Justin March lives in exile after failing in his job as an investigator of religious groups and supernatural claims. But Justin is given a second chance when Mae Koskinen comes to bring him back to the Republic of United North America (RUNA). Raised in an aristocratic caste, Mae is now a member of the military’s most elite and terrifying tier, a soldier with enhanced reflexes and skills.

When Justin and Mae are assigned to work together to solve a string of ritualistic murders, they soon realize that their discoveries have exposed them to terrible danger. As their investigation races forward, unknown enemies and powers greater than they can imagine are gathering in the shadows, ready to reclaim the world in which humans are merely game pieces on their board.

Holy cow that’s a lot of releases! I seriously cannot wait to read Phoenix and The Moon and More. As for You Look Different in Real life, I was deeply disappointed by it.

    Thanks for sharing, Giselle! <33

  2. Amy

That’s a lot of releases. A lot of them I still have to read lol!! I am reading Abandon right now and really like it. I don’t like The Testing very much. Over You and Insomnia weren’t great for me either. I really want The Moon and More. That sounds so good and has been getting awesome reviews!

  3. Sierra

SO. Many. That. I. Want! Including the new Sarah Dessen, Jennifer Castle and PODs. And others. Seriously that is a ton. Other than a couple books from the library I haven’t anything πŸ™

  4. Ems

I’m so excited for Siege and Storm, I can barely stand it! My copy won’t be delivered until the middle of June…I may die of anxiety in the meantime. πŸ˜›

Wow some great releases coming up. I even spotted a few I hadn’t yet heard of. Insomnia was one of my more anticipated but I’m put off with the whole staring into a girls eyes sort of thing.

  6. Jennifer Messerschmidt

Wow big week! Lots of goodies! I still need to finish Insomnia. I got bored and put it down. Super excited for Seige & Storm and Gameboard of the Gods. PODs looks good. Also excited for Elegy to see how the story ends. Lots of sequels of books I still need to read.

πŸ˜€ I can’t wait to get my hands on Siege & Storm, Gameboard of the Gods and The Pirate’s Wish! Been out of the book world loop for so long I’m not sure what the others are πŸ™ but will have to look into them! πŸ™‚

SO MANY PRETTIES, GISELLE, SO MANY! I’m so excited for Sarah Dessen’s new book, I’m sure it’ll be amazing, just like the rest of her books. Siege and Storm, needless to say, is one of my most highly anticipated sequels OF THE YEAR. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it, so fingers (and toes) crossed, eh? πŸ˜‰ I can’t wait to read Abandon, Elegy, and Insomnia as well. πŸ˜€ I can’t wait to see reviews of all the awesome books you got from BEA, I know I’ve been obsessing over them on twitter, but EEEEHHH all those lovelies. My preciousss πŸ˜‰ Okay, I’m gonna go before I go all Smeagol on you.. Thanks for sharing, Giselle! πŸ™‚ I’m so excited for all these new releases <3 x

  9. Eileen

Wow the publishing world is going to be BUSY this week! Those Pretty Little Liar books just keep going don’t they? I used to LOVE the books, but I stopped reading them after a while, after book 8 I think.

AHH Siege and Storm! That’s epic.

Also, it was so awesome meeting you at BEA!! Thanks for putting up with me while I stalked you like a maniac πŸ™‚

I don’t think I’ll ever look at Gameboard of the Gods without seeing the copies in that box we found bahahaha I hope it’s worth it LOL πŸ˜€ Seige and Storm gets me really pumped…and then depressed that I STILL don’t have a copy of Shadow and Bone o.O Something similar happens with Pirate’s Wish & Phoenix! The Testing looks really good too, this week was badass, thanks for sharing the goodies!!
