You stop fearing the devil when you’re holding his hand…

Nothing much exciting rolls through Violet White’s sleepy, seaside town…until River West comes along. River rents the guesthouse behind Violet’s crumbling estate, and as eerie, grim things start to happen, Violet begins to wonder about the boy living in her backyard. Is River just a crooked-smiling liar with pretty eyes and a mysterious past? Or could he be something more? Violet’s grandmother always warned her about the Devil, but she never said he could be a dark-haired boy who takes naps in the sun, who likes coffee, who kisses you in a cemetery…who makes you want to kiss back. Violet’s already so knee-deep in love, she can’t see straight. And that’s just how River likes it.

  1. Amy @ Book Loving Mom

There’s some good books coming out!! I am most excited for Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. I did a trade for it, so I do have it and need to get to it. I’m reading Stalked by Death right now… not that great so far. I have Keeping Her pre-ordered and I really want to read Hover. I think it’s cool that This Girl is the same book as Slammed, just told in a different POV. I want to read them together!

  2. Eileen @ ***Singing and Reading in the Rain***

Ooh I love so many of these covers! <333 Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock has been getting some pretty good reviews, and I remember I liked Gravity. The world-building was a little shaky, but hopefully Hover's makes everything much more clearer so that it's a lot better even though I completely forget everything that had happened in Gravity O_O Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea looks so amazing as well, I am so excited for it! 😀

    Fantastic post, Giselle!

  3. Sydney

I have been seeing so much about The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea and it looks really good! I’m also excited for The Maze Runner Files. I loved that series!

  4. Sam @ Realm of Fiction

I just read a brilliant review for Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, so I’m definitely looking forward to giving that one a try. I also really like the sound of Dancer, Daughter, Traitor, Spy! I’ll have to look up some reviews for that one as I haven’t heard much about it yet. Thanks for sharing, Giselle. 🙂

I see you’re currently reading The 100! I’m in the middle of that too, and it’s turning out to be a bit of a trek for me. I hope you’re having better luck!

I’ve got about 70 pages left and I don’t hate it but it’s not great either. It has too much world building grey areas for me and every single POV sounds exactly the same. If it wasn’t in 3rd person which keeps repeating the name of the POV we’re on I’d have no idea who I was reading about at any moment. I predict a 3 star. I think the show could be really good, though!

  5. Aman

Lots of good books coming out this week! I’m most looking forward to Between the Devil and Deep Blue Sea, Two Wrong One Right, Stripped, Into the Deep and Fire with Fire. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Kristin@Blood,Sweat and Books

Some really good books coming out this week but the one I’m most excited for is Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. It feels like I’ve been waiting on that one for years. I really have been trying to keep my expectations down since I don’t want to be wind up being disappointed after all this time but I can’t help being pumped up that release day is almost upon us.

I thought This Girl was out a couple of months ago…I LOVED Slammed and Point of Retreat, I need to read this one too. I love Brazen books. I have Smash Into You next, it’s an all guy POV so Im excited. Have you seen the summary of Stripped? It looks ridiculous. She’s a virgin stripper, so cliche. Not to mention the fact that they mention she’s a virgin like 10 times in the summary. Why can’t girls in books be normal???

  9. Emily Drema

Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea sounds so freaky but tantalizing! Are you reading that?
Thanks for sharing Giselle 🙂 This feature is always useful for people like me who really aren’t in touch with the new releases 😉

  10. Micheline @ Lunar Rainbows

I think my only coveted book out of all those is Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea! Although, I do still need to False Memory so I can get to False Sight…those should be some of my next reads *crosses fingers* Same goes for Clockwork Heart and Deepest Night – I need to read book #1

    Thanks for sharing G
