“You have to kill him.” Imprisoned in the heart of a secret military base, Em has nothing except the voice of the boy in the cell next door and the list of instructions she finds taped inside the drain.

Only Em can complete the final instruction. She’s tried everything to prevent the creation of a time machine that will tear the world apart. She holds the proof: a list she has never seen before, written in her own hand. Each failed attempt in the past has led her to the same terrible present—imprisoned and tortured by a sadistic man called the doctor while war rages outside.

Marina has loved her best friend James since the day he moved next door when they were children. A gorgeous, introverted science prodigy from one of America’s most famous families, James finally seems to be seeing Marina in a new way, too. But on one disastrous night, James’s life crumbles apart, and with it, Marina’s hopes for their future. Now someone is trying to kill him. Marina will protect James, no matter what. Even if it means opening her eyes to a truth so terrible that she may not survive it. At least not as the girl she once was.

  1. Mel@thedailyprophecy

I’m really looking forward to All our yesterdays, The elite and Conjured 🙂 It’s a shame that everyone seems to dislike The coldest girl in coldtown, because of the awesome blurb.

  2. Nick @ Nick's Book Blog

The Outside is the only one I know I need to get for sure. I wasn’t a big fan of All Our Yesterdays and the reviews for Coldest Girl has been so mixed, I’m not sure if I want to read it yet or not.
    Scorched looks good as well!

  3. Aman

I’m so looking forward to buy The Coldest Girl in Coldtown! My first Holly Black Book–Can’t wait!!! I read My Unexpected Forever for blog tour and LOVED IT! Definitely going to buy a copy of that. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  4. Pili

Quite a good batch of new released coming next week!

I loved All Our Yesterdays (got an ARC and the UK version myself) and I can’t wait for Sweet Legacy & Conjured too!

Also a pair of books that come out next week that I can’t wait for but I don’t think you have on your list are Phoenix Overture by Jodi Meadows and The Outside by Laura Bickle!

    • Giselle

The Outside by Laura Bickle is on here! 🙂 (2nd to last row). And Phoenix Overture is a novella I don’t generally add those since they don’t come out in paperback/all stores.

      • Pili

Oh right, how did I miss it? And yeah makes sense to not include novellas since they usually are only eBook format, but I’m so super excited for Phoenix Overture!

  5. Amy @ Book Loving Mom

I loved The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, and I am really enjoying All Our Yesterdays. I have Wait for You pre-ordered. Lol! I own it on Nook and Kindle already, but I pre-ordered a signed copy and can’t wait to get it!

  6. Micheline (Lunar Rainbows)

I think All Our Yesterdays was at BEA wasn’t it?! AND I passed on it if it was *headdesk* YAY for Coldest Girl in Coldtown, Scorched and The 100 though all of which are upcoming reads except Coldest Girl in Coldtown which I just started! I was hoping to get my hands on the Scorpio Races so I could read the Lord of Opium before release but that didn’t happen. D’oh!

Oh and I want The Elites ♥ …and All Our Yesterdays LOL
