Kobo Aura Giveaway! (US/Can)

Posted by

Hi peeps! I’ve got some exciting news for you today! The new Kobo Aura has just recently come out and thanks to Kobo, I have one very lucky reader who will be getting their very own! I’ve always been a fan of Kobo readers and I’ve been reading on a new Aura myself this past week and I’m already loving it! It’s eInk which is a must for me for an ereader. It also has an integrated adjustable light that makes it awesome for nighttime.

You can read all about the Kobo Aura here!

I’m excited to hear that you like it, since I want an eInk reader with the light, but I don’t want to get another Kindle. The indie bookshop near me has a Kobo to test out, but it doesn’t have the light to test D: Would you say that you can read comfortably in darkness without disturbing someone near you (like in the driver’s seat or the other side of the bed)?

The light is completely adjustable. You can make it as light or as bright and you’d like, and even on a very light setting it’s very easy to read in the dark – the light is a very white LED so you don’t need it cranked high to make it enough. It’s also not hard on your eyes. I’m pretty sure you could read in the passenger seat with it without disturbing the driver. Just like if you would check your phone which would be brighter.

Awesome! I really want to win this for my sister who lives in Alaska, I can’t afford to send her the books I do for everyone else in my family and she really deserves something like this since she has twins and two others (4 kids under 5). So my fingers are crossed!
