One choice will define you.

What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she’s known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.

But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.

Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

Veronica Roth’s Website / Facebook / Twitter

Veronica Roth is from a Chicago suburb. She studied creative writing at Northwestern University, and wrote DIVERGENT (Katherine Tegen Books, May 2011) and INSURGENT (May 2012). The third and final book in The Divergent Trilogy, ALLEGIANT, will come out on October 22, 2013. In the meantime she will spend endless hours browsing Wikipedia in her pajamas as she eats corn flakes. (Or some other kind of bland breakfast cereal.)

Hahaha. Don’t stress the obvious, Giselle. OMG! 3 more days of restless waiting. Argh! While I am excited, I can’t stop myself from being sad. The release of Allegiant means that I will be saying goodbye to another beloved series. *sighs*

TBH, I am not only anticipating the release of Allegiant, I am also looking forward for Freakboy to come out. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the latter so I’m gonna give it a go.

And yay to Teardrop’s gorgeous cover. It sure is beautiful but well, it has lot of negative reviews in GR so I don’t think I’m gonna snuggle with it.

    Thanks for this!

  2. Shelly

I’m actually not that excited for Allegiant! I’m more excited for Reality Boy, Freakboy and Rags & Bones. They all seem so interesting!

  3. Sam @ Realm of Fiction

Ha, I think I’m the only one not looking forward to Allegiant. 😉 I loved the first two, but for some reason, I seem to have lost all my enthusiasm for the book amidst all this hype and endless waiting. But I’m sure I’ll pick it up eventually… And I forgot that The Dollhouse Asylum was releasing this month! I remember being excited about that one, though the reviews so far have been quite mixed. I might wait a while before deciding whether or not to buy it. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  4. Juhina

oh yea, definitely Allegiant! I pre-ordered it but not sure when I’ll read it.. I tend to push back these hyped up books (like Unravel Me, The Evolution of Mara Dyer) until all the hype and buzz settles down.. dunno if that even makes sense lol.

  5. Alexia @ Adventures in Reading

Just found out that my mom pre-ordered Allegiant for me! Eeeeep, so excited.I want to read The Dollhouse Asylum and Teardrop but I may just get them at the library as I don’t think I want to spend money on either of them.I do want to read Freakboy though. I’ve heard that it’s amazing.

  6. kimbacaffeinate

Banquet of Lies was fantastic, and I just got a few of these in the mail today. I have Allegiant pre-ordered and so cannot wait to dive back into the world. Have a wonderful weekend 🙂

  7. Bonnie

Man, I can’t believe Allegiant is finally releasing. I still have to read Insurgent though. lol

I’m a huge Donna Tartt fan so I’m very excited for The Goldfinch and really want to check out The Abominable by Dan Simmons.

  8. Precious

I totally forgot about Allegiant coming out soon! So happy to finally finish the series. 🙂 Thanks for the post! Will be coming back from time to time to your blog to check out New Releases again.

  9. Jack

Can’t believe Allegiant is finally here! I can’t wait to read it and see how the series ends. I have a copy of Teardrop, but not sure if I should read it or not as I haven’t heard the best of reviews for Lauren Kate’s other books. I asl or really want to get my hands on a copy of The Goldfinch, Realiy Boy, an Preacher’s Boy (Wow, a lot of ‘Boy’ novels releasing this week). I was interested to read The Dollhouse Asylum, but a lot of people disliked it (including you), so I’m not sure now. Thanks, Giselle! 🙂

  10. Pili

I might just be the dissonant voice here, but even if I am awating Allegiant, not as eagerly as most people… This week I’m not particularly crazy about any of the new releases, which is kinda good since I have a ton of books for review to finish for the next week!

  11. Wattle

Oh I am intrigued by Seven Years…and The Princess in the Opal Mask. So many shiny new books to choose from, yay! 🙂 Although first I’m going to finally read Divergent now that Allegiant is out, it’s about time I caught up!

  12. Micheline @ Lunar Rainbows

I WANT ALLEGIANT right this second I tell you!! That was the book my winner chose when I joined you ladies for the Cover Madness Giveaway Hop…so she has a copy right now and I still don’t. >.< There's no justice I tell you LOL Anyways, asides from that precious, I'm excited for the Twistrose Key; which is another one I should have gotten to by now…sigh!
