I am jumping up and down right now because there is just SO MUCH awesome in that video!

First of all, I’m so glad you started vlogging again! Second – yay for new co-bloggerships!

The Sky is Everywhere is one of my all-time favorite books. You and I almost always agree when it comes to heartbreaking contemporaries, so I’m really, really excited for you to read this one. The writing is just so beautiful and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sobbed reading, and rereading, this one.

Yayyy you bought Waiting! There’s another really heartbreaking, hard to read book, but I think it’s worth it. I like Waiting more than Glimpse, but both are great. I’m also so excited that you like the Zom-B series! I am so behind, having only read up to book two, but I hope I can catch up soon now that I have someone to gush with. But I’ll definitely be avoiding that cover. *shudder*

I can’t wait to read your review of Stolen. I’ve gone back and forth so many times on buying it. The reviews are so conflicted. I’ll read one really positive review and want to buy it immediately, but then I’ll run across a scathing review and I’ll hesitate. I’m a mess, basically.

  2. Michelle @ In Libris Veritas

Wow, such an amazing haul! I want The Murder Complex so badly, I have my fingers crossed that I get approved for it. I have Premeditated waiting in the wings. I hope you enjoy everything and I look forward to reading your reviews!

  3. Melanie (YA Midnight Reads)

Yay for a vlog! I also got We Were Liars, I have high hopes, my first book by E. Lockhart 😀 I did The Murder Complex a while ago but the reviews I’ve read so far have me a little worried.

    Happy reading, Jenni! <33

  4. Maya

I LOVE The Sky is Everywhere! It’s such a good book, and one I really want to reread at some point. Stolen by Lucy Christopher is really good too, ad I’ve heard great things about We Were Liars. Hope you enjoy your new books 🙂

  5. Melliane

I also have the Edge of Always. I’m really curious about this one, I loved the first one. So I’ll see but a friend told me it was not as good. Happy reading!

  6. Amy @ Book Loving Mom

Awesome book haul chick!! I just read Love Your Entity and it was pretty good. I almost bought a few Ellen HOpkins books at B&N yesterday. I really do love her books. I can’t wait to read The Murder Complex. I got that one too!!! Yay for vlogging again. I have missed your face!! ♥ xoxo

  7. Kara @ Great Imaginations

Monstrous haul, Jenni! And once again, congratulations on your co-bloggership! Like Bekka said, seeing you vlogging again makes me happy. Please do it more often because I think you are so great at it!

As for your books, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on so many of these. I have a lot of them too but I am GUESSING you will get to them before me. Although, I am finally on to December ARCs and there are only a few of those so I am ALMOST there. Eeeeek!

  8. Anna

Really loved the blog! Great books, I’ve always been curious about Ellen Hopkins’s books but I’ve always put it off for some reason. Hope you enjoy all the books 🙂

  9. Pili

Vlogs are awesome! What an awesome haul!
I must say I’m most envious of your eARCs though, so many of those books I want to get!

  10. Haley @ YA-Aholic

SOOO many awesome books! Hope you enjoy them all hun! I LOVED Stolen, such a great book, the rest of the books you mentioned I actually haven’t read though! Looking forward to seeing your reviews! (:

  11. ShootingStarsMag

I really want to read more by Ellen Hopkins. I’ve only ever read her first adult book, but I really liked it, so I’m sure I’ll like her other one and all the YA she’s done! Nice haul of books. Thanks for sharing.

  12. Wendy Darling

Ooo, I’m so excited for the new Kate Karyus Quinn, too. Murder Complex has gotten some pretty good ratings so far, so I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of that one, Jenni! I may wait for you to guinea pig it before I try it.

    Happy reading!

  13. Eileen @ Singing and Reading in the Rain

You got a lot of really fantastic books this week, Jenni! I didn’t get to watch your video, but I have some of the same books from Harper and I hope you really enjoy them. I also loooved Racing Savannah, and I remember seeing a few of your reviews for Miranda’s other books. Happy reading! <33

  14. Ambur

Welcome to Xpresso Reads, Jenni! 😀 And it has been a while since your last Stacking the Shelves post, but I haven’t done one for a very, very long time either, so I definitely understand. I just got lazy with mine. 😛 haha Maybe you’ll motivate me to get back into it. I have been thinking about it.

Anyway, you got so many amazing books since your last StS post! I loved Stolen sooooo much!!! And it was so awesome of Miranda Kenneally to send you a signed copy of RACING SAVANNAH…she’s a pretty amazing author, and the book was fantastic, I gifted both Megan and Eilidh with it for Christmas. ;D

I’m so glad you love Ellen Hopkins!! I was so hesitant to start reading verse too, but once I read her books, I totally fell in love with the genre, and her stories are wonderful…in a twisted, intense, rip-your-heart-out kind of way. 😛

I’m totally jealous that you got Where the Stars Still Shine…I’ve been wanting to read it for forever, so I can’t wait to see what you think! And very nice ebook haul, too! I just started reading J. Lynn/Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books earlier last year, and I love them now, so I hope you do, too, if you don’t already. 😛

Thanks for sharing your StS, and I’m looking forward to more of your posts, Jenni! 😀

  15. Bonnie

Wow. ALL THE BOOKS. Oh Stolen is amazing, I sure hope you love that. The Sky is Everywhere is also awesome. One of my favorite YAs ever! Verse is amazing if done right so apparently I really need to check out Carol Lynch Williams. Hope you enjoy Ellen’s books, I loved them all. 🙂 Enjoy your new reads!!

  16. Lolita

I haven’t stopped by in a while and just noticed the new banner! Hi Jenni, I am looking forward to reading some of your reviews!

I haven’t heard from most of the books in your haul. I have seen The Murder Complex on some blogs already and while I don’t like the cover for the murder complex, the blurb sounds interesting and I am curious to hear what you think of it. I have read Wait for You when it was just released and I did enjoy it, even though it’s a bit predictable at times. The characters feel real. I own Frigid, but still have to read it. I hope to read it somewhere this winter. As it sounds like the kind of book best enjoyed in winter.

  17. Juhina

tons of amazing books! I wish Chapters do more sales like that, or better ones! I haven’t read an Ellen Hopkins book yet but I recently got introduced to verse books so I am definitely going to check out her books.
