Fresh Batch, posted weekly, keeps you up to date on the hottest releases of the upcoming week.

Flavor of the week:

Dan Wells
Series: Partials Sequence #3
Publication date: March 11th 2014
by Balzer + Bray

Goodreads Purchase

Kira, Samm, and Marcus fight to prevent a final war between Partials and humans in the gripping final installment in the Partials Sequence, a series that combines the thrilling action of The Hunger Games with the provocative themes of Blade Runner and The Stand.

There is no avoiding itβ€”the war to decide the fate of both humans and Partials is at hand. Both sides hold in their possession a weapon that could destroy the other, and Kira Walker has precious little time to prevent that from happening. She has one chance to save both species and the world with them, but it will only come at great personal cost.

The mirk and midnight hour! Such a pretty cover πŸ˜€ I’ve heard good things about Ask again later and I liked The shadow prince. I’m reading Ruins now and it’s great so far.

  2. Faye @ The Social Potato

Gah! I really need to read Partials! I have the first book here with me… jsut haven’t gotten around to reading it yet haha. The rest don’t really seem my kinda books so I’ll pass. Hopefully next book will be better for me and my preferences XD

  3. Aimee @ Deadly Darlings

I haven’t read Partials yet. D: But, on the other hand, I’m so excited for The Promise of Shadows! And I’m reading Ask Again Later right now–it’s okay so far. I should really read the Mercy Thompson series as well! Thanks for sharing, Giselle!

  4. Pili

I’m dying to get Ruins next week, cause I’ve loved the trilogy so far and cannot wait what new twists Dan Wells has in stock for us!
Strange Sweet Song and The Shadow Prince I just read ARCs of and loved them!
And ACID is a fantastic book! SO happy you guys are getting it over there, it is a great classical dystopian, very much like Brave New World or 1984!

  5. Lolita

I didn’t realize Ruins is already released! I enjoyed the first two books in this series, so I hope I can get my copy of Ruins soon.
