Prisoner of Night and Fog
Anne Blankman
Series: Prisoner of Night and Fog #1
Publication date: April 22nd 2014
by Balzer & Bray
In 1930s Munich, danger lurks behind dark corners, and secrets are buried deep within the city. But Gretchen Müller, who grew up in the National Socialist Party under the wing of her “uncle” Dolf, has been shielded from that side of society ever since her father traded his life for Dolf’s, and Gretchen is his favorite, his pet.
Uncle Dolf is none other than Adolf Hitler.
And Gretchen follows his every command.
Until she meets a fearless and handsome young Jewish reporter named Daniel Cohen. Gretchen should despise Daniel, yet she can’t stop herself from listening to his story: that her father, the adored Nazi martyr, was actually murdered by an unknown comrade. She also can’t help the fierce attraction brewing between them, despite everything she’s been taught to believe about Jews.
As Gretchen investigates the very people she’s always considered friends, she must decide where her loyalties lie. Will she choose the safety of her former life as a Nazi darling, or will she dare to dig up the truth—even if it could get her and Daniel killed?

YAY! I’m finally getting my preorder of Prisoner of Night And Fog! And I think that’s the only one I have preordered… Though some sounds very intriguing and I might have to check them out too…
Mel@thedailyprophecy
I absolutely loved Prisoner of night and fog, so I can’t wait to get a copy of that one 🙂 The inventor’s secret has a great cover and Deception’s princess looks good too. Talker 25 was such a disappointment 🙁 I was expecting so much from that one.

The Eight Day looks amazing! I remember seeing that aaaaaaaaages ago and just forgot about it, shame on me! Added to my list, and I’ve read Keep the Faith oh boy, such a good series, definitely going to be popular. Also have Fragile Line but just haven’t gotten to it yet.. whoops.
Laura Plus Books
She Is Not Invisible has been catching my eye for the longest time. It’s just such an awesome cover! I can’t get over how pretty it is. Hopefully I can get my hands on it soon. I really want to check out The Chance That You Won’t Return as well. Again, because the cover is so intriguing. I have a thing for pretty covers. 😉
Vickie (Under The Mountain)
I have an eGalley of Prisoner of Night and Fog, I’m hoping I can get round to reading it soon! It’s one of my most anticipated books this year so I’m hoping I won’t be disappointed.

I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of Lost in Thought. I really want to read Prisoner of Night and Fog, but historical fiction isn’t usually my thing, so I’ll stay safe and borrow it.

April has been a seriously good month for releases.. and it just keeps getting better methinks!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC for Prisoner of Night and Fog so I didn’t have to make a mad scramble to the bookstore for that one. Heh heh.

After last week, this week’s releases are looking kind of pale, BUT I am really looking forward to Deception’s Princess 😉
