Jenni’s Stacking the Shelves [June 29]

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews featuring new additions to our bookshelves.

It’s definitely been a very short, yet very sweet week for me when it comes to bookish mail.  I did find out earlier in the week that I won a Kindle Paperwhite from Pop! Goes the Reader‘s one year blogoversary giveaway so I am pretty excited and anxiously awaiting it’s arrival!

A giant thank you to Raincoast Books and Penguin Canada for these goodies.  Landline and I’ll Give You The Sun are two of the reads I was most looking forward to this year so I really can’t wait to hunker down and give them a read.  I just started Some Boys yesterday and I am really enjoying it so far! And well, The Girl From The Well looks like the perfect scare for a late summer’s night!

   Oohhh a paperwhite!!! Congrats! I have the version before it and I’ve been really wanting to upgrade to the paperwhite. I just won Landline and received it today and I am pretty excited. Also excited for I’ll Give You The Sun. Enjoy!

   Everyone is really excited for Landline and I have yet to read a book from this author.. I’m thinking about Fangirl. The girl from the well sounds so creepy. Happy reading!

   I really liked Landline. It’s definitely different from Rowell’s other books, but still so good. And also somehow very much a Rowell book.

    I’m reading Landline right now and I’m really enjoying it. Cannot wait for I’ll Give You the Sun and The Girl from the Well as well. Haven’t heard too much about Some Boys but will have to check it out. Happy Reading!

    Nice going! I’m turning 22 in two weeks, so I’ve got a little bit of a birthday haul going on. I’ve got books #2 and #3 of the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson, Lola and the Boy Next Door, the entire Croak trilogy by Gina Damico, More Shit My Dad Says.. well, that’s off the top of my head. I’ll make a blog post about it when they arrive in the mail 😀
