Goodreads Purchase

Name of overseas edition of Between The Lives.

Above all else, though I try not to think about it, I know which life I prefer. And every night when I Cinderella myself from one life to the next a very small, but definite, piece of me dies. The hardest part is that nothing about my situation has ever changed. There is no loophole.

Until now, that is…

For as long as she can remember, Sabine has lived two lives. Every 24 hours she Shifts to her ′other′ life – a life where she is exactly the same, but absolutely everything else is different: different family, different friends, different social expectations. In one life she has a sister, in the other she does not. In one life she′s a straight-A student with the perfect boyfriend, in the other she′s considered a reckless delinquent. Nothing about her situation has ever changed, until the day when she discovers a glitch: the arm she breaks in one life is perfectly fine in the other.

With this new knowledge, Sabine begins a series of increasingly risky experiments which bring her dangerously close to the life she′s always wanted… But just what – and who – is she really risking?

  1. Lisa @ Lost in Literature

I just received One Past Midnight this week. I’m infatuated with the cover. <33 So many beauties this week!! I just bought the Quarantine books 1&2 at a local book sale we had. The covers are so creepy! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  2. Kristin@Blood,Sweat and Books

I loved Between the Lives/One Past Midnight when I read it but I’m so glad I have the other cover version as the One Past Midnight redo does nothing for me. This week I’m probably most excited for Strange and Ever After as well as Four Houses.

  3. Pili

I don’t have anything preordered this week but I’m considering getting One Past Midnight, The Fire Wish and Dissonance!

  4. Karyne

I would love to know what resources you guys use to compile these lists! They’re so helpful, but I’d love to be able to look more by genre since I don’t read much contemporary YA. Fantasy and sci-fi are more my thing. Have any suggestions for ways I can keep up with the newest in those specific genres?

  5. Preethi @ Time Turning Reads

I’m really excited to read ‘Dissonance’ since it’s been trending on book blogs everywhere! I haven’t seen a bad review yet so I’m super psyched for it. I hope it’s as good as everyone says it is.
