I am tired of being used, hurt, and cast aside.

Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever. A decade ago, the deadly illness swept through her nation. Most of the infected perished, while many of the children who survived were left with strange markings. Adelina’s black hair turned silver, her lashes went pale, and now she has only a jagged scar where her left eye once was. Her cruel father believes she is a malfetto, an abomination, ruining their family’s good name and standing in the way of their fortune. But some of the fever’s survivors are rumored to possess more than just scars—they are believed to have mysterious and powerful gifts, and though their identities remain secret, they have come to be called the Young Elites.

Teren Santoro works for the king. As Leader of the Inquisition Axis, it is his job to seek out the Young Elites, to destroy them before they destroy the nation. He believes the Young Elites to be dangerous and vengeful, but it’s Teren who may possess the darkest secret of all.

Enzo Valenciano is a member of the Dagger Society. This secret sect of Young Elites seeks out others like them before the Inquisition Axis can. But when the Daggers find Adelina, they discover someone with powers like they’ve never seen.

Adelina wants to believe Enzo is on her side, and that Teren is the true enemy. But the lives of these three will collide in unexpected ways, as each fights a very different and personal battle. But of one thing they are all certain: Adelina has abilities that shouldn’t belong in this world. A vengeful blackness in her heart. And a desire to destroy all who dare to cross her.

It is my turn to use. My turn to hurt.

I just saw Burying Water yesterday! It looks amazing and that is one that I’m definitely putting on my list. Black Ice, The Fall, Of Scars and Stardust, … There are so many! What a list, Giselle! Thank you for putting so much work into listing all these beauties!

I’m not sure how I’ll get any work done in the coming months 🙂

  2. Lea @ YA Book Queen

Oh my gosh, so many books! I didn’t realize a few of these were coming out so soon. Very excited for THE BODY ELECTRIC!

Thank you for the post, especially for all of the links 😀

I have quite a few books preordered this week, and I will be getting a pair of them later on when I attend a signing!! SO MANY AWESOME BOOKS!

  5. Zoe @ The Infinite To-Read Shelf

I’m starting to think all the publishers came together and decided to publish all of their highly anticipated titles this week – ha! SO excited for all of these – especially The Young Elites, Exquisite Captive, This Night So Dark and Blood of Olympus. Thanks for putting this together Giselle!

  6. Kristin@Blood,Sweat and Books

Wow another Zom-B book, I’m never going to catch up at this rate. I’m most excited for Black Ice but The Body Electric and Queen of Someday look good as well. Oh and I liked H20 when I read it so I’ll probably be picking that up at some point except under the UK cover because I prefer that one.

  7. Lola

October is a pretty cool month for releases, don’t you agree? I’ve read Black Ice (enjoyed) and Queen of Someday (loved) but there are so many out there that I want to read as well. O.o Damn.

  8. Bone

I already see a bunch of books I would like to read as soon as possible. Bleed Like Me seems interesting. Black Ice as well.

  9. Michelle

Hehe I was excited when I saw some of these pretties at the bookstore yesterday! I’ve already picked up Althea & Oliver, which was such a need-to-buy read from the moment I laid eyes on it. All of these pretties have such to-die-for covers—all gorgeous! I need The Young Elites ASAP, though! THIS NIGHT SO DARK—OMGGGG! Thanks for sharing, you’ve got me super excited and eager!
