Today we are partnering with the lovely people over at Little, Brown to bring you a fabulous giveaway for Defy the Stars by Claudia Gray. Alert: THIS BOOK IS SET IN SPACE. <– important fact because all books set in space are always on my tbr since I’ve kind of been obsessed with space since I was a bb8 and wanted to do that astronaut as a career thing (now I am a lit major so that didn’t technically work out.)

Our worlds belong to us.
She's a soldier.
Noemi Vidal is seventeen years old and sworn to protect her planet, Genesis. She's willing to risk anything--including her own life. To their enemies on Earth, she's a rebel.
He's a machine.
Abandoned in space for years, utterly alone, Abel has advanced programming that's begun to evolve. He wants only to protect his creator, and to be free. To the people of Genesis, he's an abomination.
Noemi and Abel are enemies in an interstellar war, forced by chance to work together as they embark on a daring journey through the stars. Their efforts would end the fighting for good, but they're not without sacrifice. The stakes are even higher than either of them first realized, and the more time they spend together, the more they're forced to question everything they'd been taught was true.

How far would I go for my homeland?
I would go to war for my homeland.
Zoey
I can’t enter the giveaway but I definitely do want to read this book (:
Also, I’m apparently from Cray 😛
Tammy V
I’m more of a caretaker than a fighter. I would take care of the wounded, orphans, and elderly.
Chelsea Hunter
If I was needed to go to war for my country I would.
Elizabeth
I think I would do what I had to, but I’m not really a fighter myself.
danielle hammelef
I would do everything it takes except take a life.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
That’s a toughie! As far as I could! (though I took this literally, like distance wise! now as I look at other answers I need to add to it! LOL!)
I would do whatever it takes, but like Danielle said as long as it wouldn’t involve taking a life. But yeah, totally not strong or really capable, but I’d do what I could!
Julie
It’s hard to say without being in that situation! Hopefully pretty far.
Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight
I… don’t know. I feel pretty salty about it in general right now, so it’s probably not the best time to answer 😉 Also the quiz decided I was a vagabond, and I am not sure how I feel about that… 🤔
Melissa
No surprise, I got Genesis! And I’d do as much as I could without compromising who I am.
Samantha D
Depends, can I have guaranteed promise that all jobs will have equal pay? Cause it’s 2017. I would like for my homeland to be more fair.
Danielle D.
Honestly, it depends on what the cause is. If it’s something I believe in I’ll do whatever I can to help
Linda Romer
To the stars and back!!! Thank you
Sarah Bauman
I would go to the stars and back!
Valerie
I mean. I would go far to protect my homeland. Though I do have an idiot cheeto that represents us, so uh. maybe I wouldn’t go too far.
