I LOVE the cover for Learning to Not to Drown! It sounds like an awesome book as well. I’m excited to see what you think of it! I got In the Shadow of Blackbirds a couple of weeks ago and it sounds absolutely amazing. I’ve heard amazing things for If You Stay! Fabulous haul this week, Giselle! Happy reading πŸ™‚

Ooh, this book you’re reading sounds kind of amazing, especially if you want to go back to it so soon! I already can’t wait to see your thoughts about it. =)

But ANYWAYS, getting back to your haul, Learning Not to Drown looks really good, and seriously, that cover! It’s so gorgeous. Bitter Angel also looks really good. I’ve also seen some awesome things about In the Shadows of Blackbirds, and I’m honestly really excited to get my hands on a copy of it. And those are some awesome deals you got at Chapters!! $4.99 is like nothing for a book. πŸ˜€

Happy reading, Giselle, and I hope you enjoy your current read! <3

YES I’m so excited! I don’t even have to skip a review book since I had this ARC scheduled for review anyways–my ARC PDF file was broken so I just bought it instead of fighting with it to work lol

I hope you enjoy If I Stay. It’s pretty dark, but some of the scenes *cough* body painting *cough* and so are deliciously great. I tried reading Lili St. Crow’s Strang Angels, but I wasn’t really into it. Maybe it’s because it was in my native language and supernatural books don’t feel organic to me that way so I’ll try reading it in English like I do with 99% of my books. And holy mother of all things holy! You got yourself some hell of a deals! Happy reading, Giselle:)

  5. Little Miss Becky

Loved In the Shadow of Blackbirds and Heist Society! You got some awesome deals at Chapters! All three that you got for review look really interesting! The idea behind Project Cain freaks me out, but I’ve still excited to check it out!

  6. Sam

I love In the Shadow of Blackbirds! I can’t wait to see what you think of it. I’m also looking forward to your review of Project Cain. I think Blythe had some problems with it, so I stopped myself from requesting a copy. And Heist Society was a pretty fun read for me. I hope you like it! πŸ™‚

  7. Amy

Wow, those are some fabulous deals!!! Ugh!! I so wanted Learning Not To Drown, and they declined me!!! WTF??? I am going to request it again. Sometimes that works haha!! And for real, I had been checking kobo every few days for If You Stay for you. I have been trying to get it for you since the day it came out!! I really think you will love it. It’s dark, gritty, and sexy!! One of my favorite books this year!!

  8. Melanie

Great haul Giselle! Those are some epic bargains >.< I was planning to go to this discount bookstore when I went to the city today but they moved! *chokes back sobs*

I can’t wait to hear on what you think about Shadow of Blackbirds, I hear its quite promising!

Enjoy reading all those scrumptious books <3

I cannot tell you how much I love the bargain shelves at Chapters. You can get, like, 4 books for what one regularly priced book costs – WIN! I’ve probably bought close to two dozen books from the bargain shelf in the last few months lol. Ooh, and I got If You Stay this week too. Can’t wait to read it!

Project Cain and In the Shadow of Blackbirds! Giselle, you struck GOLD this week! I’m not too sure about Project Cain now, though, because Blythe (Harris) DNF’d it, and I think my taste and hers are quite similar. Anyway, I’m still intrigued, so I look forward to your thoughts. Same goes for ItSoB! A lot of trusted friends absolutely adored it, and I hope you do, too. πŸ™‚

Learning Not to Drown has a crazy awesome cover. And oh my gosh, I loved In the Shadow of Blackbirds… it’s so good, Giselle. You know… I keep hearing such fantastic things about Colleen Hoover. Hopeless and Slammed both… may have to finally check something of hers out. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it so much! πŸ™‚

  13. Jessirae

Woah woah woah, hold the phone! How have I not seen or heard of Learning Not to Drown!? How! That book looks so freaking good and the cover!! I can’t even. And Bitter Angel, where the girl has tape over her mouth.. freaky. Awesome awesome haul, Giselle! I hope you love these books! They look so good!

  14. Megan Hand

It’s an HONOR seeing my book in this line up, Giselle. Thank you πŸ™‚ Also, a couple of these I’ve never heard of. I must check them out!!!
