Hiya! Is everyone ready for Halloween? We just came home from Boo at the Zoo – not sure how common this is but it’s just the zoo Halloween-ified and super fun to go with kids. Anyways, so I was in  Halloween mood and decided to try to replicate something off a cookie recipe site. I totally nailed it, right? I think so! >.<1383482_10153386880970387_1209068508_n

    Still can’t get over those cookies, at least they tasted good! I haven’t heard much about Nil, but I love the cover and how it looks a bit like it’s been coloured in. And Parasite is really good! I hope you enjoy it.

    We went to Zoo BOo this weekend too. was a lot of fun 🙂 I love your cookies! They look just like my attempt at icing.

    I’ve not heard a lot about most of these books. I’ve seen some folks getting Plus One though I have no idea what it’s about. I really need to look them all up and see if I should add them to my wish list. Great haul!

    Oh, yeah, you totally nailed it 😉 Like I do when I frost a layered cake… tee, hee… I’m sure they tasted heavenly, though!!! You’re stomach doesn’t care what they look like, right???

    I got Servants of the Storm, too (it was week before last so I didn’t list it) and I’m not sure if I can wait long to read it – it sounds so freakin’ cool!!! Talk about a creeptastic cover, too – eeeeeeee!!!

    We have a boo at the zoo but it’s Detroit so that might be TOO scary 😉 The knives are probably real.

    I hope you enjoy your new reads, I’ve heard fantastic things about Parasite and Nil, and didn’t Mira Grant also write the Feed series? I know you loved those books so hopefully you’ll feel the same way about Parasite. Karina Halle’s books are all over and I feel like I should succumb to the hype around her and her books.
