Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews featuring the books we got this week, and I also mention blog news/happenings of the past week.


I can’t believe Christmas is here eeek! I love this time of year! I hope everyone has a wonderful week, a great holiday, and make sure to stuff your faces too! Just a note that Xpresso Reads is going on a short hiatus until after the holidays. I want to enjoy time with family instead of worrying about posts and blogging. We also all need a breather once in a while, ya know. I do, however, have a couple of holiday giveaway posts pre-scheduled to go up this week so you can still expect a bit of life on this site. I will be back next week, just before the new year, with some fun posts! I will still, of course, be all over Twitter until then 🙂

    Nice haul of books. I see that you got The Secret Diamond sisters as well. Lots of awesome books in this haul. The Ann Brashares book is also popular this week. Great haul sweetie.

    Yup, a TON of us got We Were Liars! Exciting! I heard parts of And We Stay are in verse so I didn’t request that one. SO bummed that I got denied The Here and Now. I wanted that one SO much.I requested The Secret Diamond Sisters but I haven’t gotten a response yet.

    Like you, Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year! So excited right now. Hope you have an awesome Christmas!

    I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your blog.
    Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility
    issues? A handful of my blog audience have complained
    about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera.

    Do you have any advice to help fix this problem?

    I really liked Michelle Madow’s Remembrance books when she was self-published, so I definitely am going to have to give The Secret Diamond Sisters a try. It definitely sounds like one of those books that are really cute at the same time mysterious 🙂
