Giselle’s Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews featuring the books we got this week, and I also mention blog news/happenings of the past week.

Hi everyone! I haven’t done an STS in a while so I hope that 2014 is off to a good start so far. In case some of you have been hiding out in the real world, Jenni who was at Alluring Reads is now part of Xpresso Reads as my new co-blogger! And for STS posts we decided to each do it every other week, so next week will be Jenni’s, and the week after will be me etc. So anyways, I’ve been avoiding shopping in general – including book stores – since the holidays so despite not doing a book haul post in a few weeks, this one was kept fairly short and mostly EW finds (which is like Christmas all over again!)!

THIS WEEK’S BOOK HAUL:
(Click on covers for Goodreads)

I received for review:
IMM1 IMM2 IMM3
IMM4 IMM5

The Unseemly Education of Anne Merchant by Joanna Wiebe
Love your Entity by Cat Devon

*Thanks to HarperCollins,Β BenBella Books, and St. Martin’s Press for these pretties!*

That’s all for me this week!
XOXO

They all look so good! I absolutely can’t wait to read “unseemly education” and “half life”. You’re so lucky!!
You should definitely look at my in my mailbox. I got an awesome haul, but not as good as yours, sadly.
    Happy reading!

  4. Amy @ Book Loving Mom

I got a lot of the same books. I haven’t done a book haul in two weeks, but will have to do one next weekend. No one likes it when they are too long lol!! I actually enjoyed Love Your Entity. I didn’t know it was part of a series, but it was more of a companion novel. My review for it goes up this week for my tour stop. Enjoy all your new goodies babe!!

I love the cover for The Things You Kiss Goodbye. All the covers coming out lately are all so busy. Sounds like a cute, feel good read and how often do we see characters called Bettina.

Thanks for putting it on my radar.

  6. Candace

I love Sarah Strohmeyer so I’m definitely curious about that one. The Vanishing Season has me curious as well. Looks like lots of great books!

  7. Anna

The Secrets of Lily Grave sounds so good, I really want to read it! I’ll have to check out the other books but they look interesting. Hope you enjoy!

I didn’t know that Jodi Lynn Anderson had a new book coming out!! I’m off to go read about it, and probably fangirl a little. She’s incredible! But YES!

Hope you enjoy all of your books!!

  9. Eileen @ Singing and Reading in the Rain

I got a lot of the same books as you this week! I’m super excited to start Side Effects May Vary hopefully this week and also to get to Sarah Strohmeyer’s new book. Getting things from Edelweiss is totally like Christmas because it’s so satisfying to get new books. Happy reading, Giselle <33

  10. Nereyda @Mostly YA Book Obsessed

I got those Harper goodies too, can’t wait for them! The Secrets of Lily Graves looks Awesome! I used to have a friend in high school who’s mother was a mortician and I was so fascinated and grossed out by it. I would tell her ‘doesn’t it weird you out when your makes makes dinner knowing that she had her hands in a dead person?’ So excited for The Things You Kiss Goodbye too!
    Enjoy your book haul πŸ™‚

I’m so excited for Side Effects May Vary! I have a feeling I’ll be starting it much sooner than I really should. Looking forward to what you think of The Vanishing Season too!
