Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews featuring the books we got this week, and I also mention blog news/happenings of the past week.

You know what? This is my last STS before I leave for BEA! Whooo! Next week’s is Jenni’s – and the week as well after since I will be gone. So exciting! Hopefully she won’t break the blog when I’m gone >.< So in books this week I got a couple of bookish packages in the mail, and grabbed a couple off Netgalley. One I already DNFed and one is 600 pages O_O

THIS WEEK’S BOOK HAUL:
(Click on covers for Goodreads)

I received for review:

*Big thanks toΒ Disney-Hyperion, Orbit Books, Macmillan Children’s Penguin, Hachette UK, and Simon & Schuster for these pretties!*

That’s all for me this week!

Awesome stack Giselle, I have heard so many awesome things about Sekret! I really enjoyed Between the Lives and I hope that you will too. That is amazing that you are reviewing Afterworlds! How exciting! Enjoy your week.

  2. Cait @ Notebook Sisters

The Moment Collector’s cover is beeeautiful. I read the e-galley and it was good but not really what I was expecting. >.< The ending was a real shocker though! I'd love to read Conversion! The cover is sooo intriguing.

  3. Amanda @ Book Badger

I have Between the Lives and The Moment Collector but I’m saving them for Summer and closer to the release date, so basically next month, ha! I hope you have a great time at BEA Giselle and I’m sure Jenni can keep us all happy-go-lucky and not break Xpresso Reads while you’re gone πŸ˜‰

Oh, I am curious which one you DNF. And YAY BEA! I am excited to meet you!!

I haven’t heard of some of these, but I will be checking them out now πŸ™‚

    Have a good week lady

  5. Kristen@My Friends Are Fiction

I love the cover for Stitching Snow and Conversion. So beautiful. I can’t wait to read Stitching Snow–I’ve got my fingers crossed for a print arc. I hope the one you DNFed wasn’t Stitching Snow *worried* Great haul and BEA! So close, have a great time and stay safe πŸ™‚

  6. Micheline @ Lunar Rainbows Reviews

Stitching Snow has such a pretty cover. I hope it’s as good as it sounds although it kind of feels like a rip-off of the Lunar Chronicles O.O I hope it’s not. I still haven’t read anything by Scott Westerfeld but I own one of his books. I’d never seen Afterworlds before though so I’ll have to look it up! Conversion sounds like it could either be awesome and my kind of read or it’ll be way too creepy/disturbing for me LOL. Either way I wish it had a different cover, I don’t get how a yellow bird on a prickly branch has anything to do about Salem Witch trials…anyhoo, happy reading!!

    PS- YAY BEA πŸ˜€

  7. Candace

I’m so jealous you get to go to BEA! πŸ˜‰ It looks like you got a lot of great books! I bought Sekret awhile back and can’t wait to read it! Have a wonderful trip!

  8. Pili

What a great haul!! I do hope the one you DNFed was not Stitching Snow, cause I’m super intrigued about that one!
YAY for going to BEA! I hope you’ll tweet and share with us who can’t go!
    Happy reading!

  9. Maddy @Symphony of Words

I’ve heard so many beautiful things about Sekret! I personally can’t wait to read Conversion as well πŸ™‚ gosh how I wish I lived in North America…*le sigh* you’re so lucky! Giselle. Can’t wait for your reviews on these!

  10. Carina Olsen

ACK! So much amazing πŸ˜€ And such pretty books. <3 Sigh. I hope you'll love them all πŸ™‚ I'm also getting a copy of The Moment Collector soonish πŸ˜€

  11. Lisa @ Lost in Literature

I’m so back and forth on Stitching Snow. I’ve heard it’s a lot like Cinder, which I loved, but honestly Cinder was wayyyyy outside my comfort zone, so I’m not sure if it was just a fluke. LOL I guess I’m just waiting for a few reviews before I dive in. The cover is gorgeous though. I hope you enjoy all of your new books this week, Giselle! πŸ™‚

  12. Michelle

I like the premise of Between the Lives. Sounds like a good read! Can’t wait to read the book. Enjoy reading your lovelies!

  13. Bonnie

I haven’t read anything by Scott Westerfeld but Afterworlds does sound good. Although that 600 page count is pretty daunting. Lol Hope it’s worth the time! Really intrigued by The Girl With All the Gifts too. Have a great time at BEA! Can’t wait to see the goodies you snag. πŸ™‚
