Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews featuring the books we got this week, and I also mention blog news/happenings of the past week.

Hi everyone! Hope you had a creeptastic Halloween with lots of candy and all that good stuff! Oh and guess what else happened? I got me my Mockingjay tickets for opening nights woot! We finally got a reserved-seating theater in town and I love it! No more waiting 4 hours in line for a good seat for moi – and it’s already in 3 week Weeeeeee!! I also saw Gone Girl this week I really liked it! It’s been 2 years since I read the book and I notice less when details and stuff are missing, but I found it was a really good adaptation. So yeah, let’s see what’s new on my shelves lately! 🙂

    I got tickets for Mockingjay too!!! The day the went on sale I purchased them right away for me and my friend. I got a few of the same books as you too. I am super excited to read Shutter, This Shattered World and I’ll Meet You There. When I went to a book signing Heather Demetrios talked a bit about it. I also got the same Harper titles from Edelweiss.

    I enjoyed Gone Girl as well, but haven’t read the book yet. The new Courtney Summers book is on my wishlist. Can’t wait to see what you think of it.

    I’ve heard that I’ll Meet You There is AMAZING – I hope you enjoy it! I really liked Loop, and I’m so looking forward to This Shattered World 😀 I’ve got to wait till December for it, but at least it’s something to look forward to 😉

    Shutter has an awesome cover but it doesn’t sound very original and I’d think I’d constantly draw comparisons to horror films already in existence along the same lines. Will definitely be curious to hear your thoughts on it though. This Shattered World is one I’m still trying to decide whether I’ll read. I probably will but atm I’m just flip flopping on it.

    I saw Gone Girl on Sunday and really enjoyed it, I haven’t read the book so I had no idea what to expect and found I liked it more than I thought I would.
