Oh this is interesting, I feel that I like the UK versions more.

I’m rereading Daughter of Smoke and Bone right now, and it irritates me that the handprint on the UK edition is not burned into the door like they are in the novel :/
It’s interesting to see these side by side though. I’d love to hear from different designers why they went certain ways with the covers.

Cool post! 🙂 I liked the US version of Kiersten White and the U.K. versions of the others.

I generally liked the US versions more! I might be biased though as I live in the UK and have grown to hate our covers! Great post! 🙂

I like all of the US covers better especially And I Darken.

Except for And I Darken, I do prefer the US covers, and as much as I love the US version of And I Darken, I so love seeing Lada being all creepy and fierce on the UK cover!

I haven’t seen UK cover for Daughter of Smoke and Bone before. It’s gorgeous. I choose UK covers for all books.

Okay I seemed to be in the minority here when it came to voting Rashika! I always prefer the U.S covers to books maybe because its covers that we don’t get or a expensive to get a hold of. The only U.K cover I liked here was The Daughter of Smoke and Bone, I think it represents the book most accurately, I love the hand print too! Thanks for sharing a great post with us Rashika, you know I love my gorgeous covers!

Oh man. Such hard choices. The only one I am certain on is Patrick Ness’ cover. I definitely like the UK version better. However, the other ones… I like them both. >.<

I usually love the UK version but I voted all US this round.
