How many nightmares begin in the Fear Street Woods?

Eddie and Emma are high school sweethearts from the wrong side of the tracks. Looking for an escape from their dreary lives, they embark on an overnight camping trip with four friends in the Fear Street Woods.

As Eddie carves a heart in a tree, he and Emma make a shocking discovery. It’s a discovery that will lead to the end of friendships—and to murder.

Meanwhile, Emmy is having strange, terrifying dreams about wolves. Are her dreams connected somehow to the real wolf attacks that plague the town of Shadyside?

Emmy, it seems, is about to make a horrifying discovery about herself…

I read this one a while ago and got busy and kept forgetting to post my review for it. I have really been enjoying the Fear Street Relaunch books, and I enjoyed this one too. It’s dark and creepy at times, but not really scary. I thought the story was really fun and interesting. I liked that there was more than one type of danger going on, and how it all came together at the end. The characters were great and well done.

Emmy was pretty much your typical high school girl. She likes to hang out with friends, her boyfriend, party, and do things she’s not supposed to. Only, she gets herself in way over her head when she’s snuck out to go camping with her boyfriend and some friends, and they find a case full of cash. Besides the huge trouble that comes with that, she’s having dreams about wolves, and she thinks that she might be one of them. There have been reports of attacks and she is sleeping and having the dreams at the same time as they are happening. So while her and her friends are turning against each other when the money the hid goes missing, they are also in fear for their lives by the person who hid the money in the first place, and Emmy is worried about what is happening to herself.

This was a wonderfully woven story full of danger and mystery. Each page was something that made the story so much more fun to read and try to figure out what was going to happen. I love a mystery and this book had more than one. And Emmy’s boyfriend works at a pet cemetary. I mean, creepy!! This book was really entertaining for me and I can’t wait to see what comes next in the Fear Street Relaunch series.

I'm no good at this, but I'm a mom of one little girl who really thinks she is a princess. I love reading all sorts of books (horror being a favorite genre of mine), love meeting new people, drinking lots of coffee, and eating chocolate. If you want to know anything else about me, just ask.
