Oh, there is my design up there in all its glory. I was waiting for this post! Yay! I love it sooo much, G. You made me love blogging again.

As for the books, I requested a Conspiracy of Alchemists too but I don’t think I got it in until Friday. BOO. But I can’t wait to buy Renegade.

Thanks so much and have a great week!

  2. speculatef

Yay, so much awesome! Glad you love Blood and Starlight, I saw it in the shops here, but I know my review copy is winging its way to me so I’ll have to be patient πŸ™‚

I read your review of Renegade as well, it looks really good!

Hope you enjoy all your new books πŸ™‚

I absolutely freaking HATE the House of Night series. Like with an unhealthy passion. I’m actually embarrassed I read up to book 5. I kept waiting to see if the books would get better…
Had never heard of Iced before this week, will have to look it up. And Sweet Evil! I hope you like this one. It’s a little darker for Harper Teen. Get ready to sigh for Kai πŸ˜‰

    Hi Giselle

I like the cover for A Conspiracy of Alchemists with the clashing of the picture and the text.

Iced was one that I saw A LOT last week on various hauls, but I wanted to know if it’s a book that I, as a male reader, can get something out of.

    Enjoy your reads.

  5. Mel

Great haul – I keep thinking I should read some Karen Marie Moning – everyone raves about the Fever series and Iced has been getting some fab reviews! πŸ™‚

  6. Kat Balcombe

Ahhh I noticed Kara’s new design and thought it might have been one of yours – it’s gorgeous!

And that Ilsa J. Bick book – the cause of much Twitter agony πŸ˜‰

    Enjoy!

  7. Sirtsu

Sweet Evil is so freaking amazing! Kaidan Rowe.. *sigh* Hope you enjoy and looking forward to reading your thoughts on it. Also, I’m glad you enjoyed DoB&S, I plan on reading it during Christmas since I have more free time then and can concentrate on that particular story even more. Happy reading, Giselle!

Yay!! Kara’s design is so fab!! Hope you enjoy Sweet Evil. I’m not a big Kaidan fan, but I am definitely in the minority with that opinion lol!! I liked Anna though, even though she was a bit drama queen sometimes. I need to get Days of Blood and Starlight. All that swag is so pretty!! Great haul babe!!

  9. Silverlight

I love Kara’s design, it came out gorgeous! I totally understand how hard it is to run a blog or business and have your little{s} all over you. That’s why my weekends I’m usually MIA from the internet, so it’ll be great for both of you. I almost request A Conspiracy, but passed on it. Can’t wait to see your thoughts! Have a “BUSY” week, chick! πŸ˜€

  10. Jasprit

Yay for Days of Blood and Starlight and Iced! I absolutely loved Days, so I’m glad you did too! I can’t wait to be back in the Fever world once again! Sweet Evil is another book I should really get to, the positive reviews for that book have been insane! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts! Hope you enjoy all your books and your son settles into daycare okay! πŸ™‚

  11. Sam

I still need to read Sweet Evil! I’ve been sitting on my copy too long. πŸ˜› I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! Ooh I’m currently reading Renegade and really enjoying it. The whole world is so interesting! πŸ™‚

I keep hearing some good stuff about Sweet Evil (and I love that title) so I might need to add it to my ever-growing wish list.

The Sin-Eater’s Confession sounds pretty amazing. I hadn’t heard of it before, so I’m excited to see your review.

Amazin’ haul as usual, Giselle! You’re so lucky to get DAYS OF BLOOD AND STARLIGHT and ICED! Those are two books I really wanna read…

Anyway, hope you have a great week and enjoy all your new books! πŸ™‚

  17. Christina

Woo! Glad you loved Days of Blood and Starlight. I’m reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone right now and just ordered that one, because I really love Taylor’s writing. I’m not sure how I’m going to feel about the romance yet, but it will probably still be a four for me, unless it’s crazy obnoxious.

I’ve heard some…interesting…things about Sweet Evil. Good luck!

  18. Paranormal Book Fan

You haven’t read Sweet Evil either? That’s one I’ll be buying soon too. I got fed up with the House of Night series around book 8, I think. I have Renegade too, hoping its a good one. Happy Reading girlie πŸ™‚

That design looks fantastic! And my grandma got Iced this week and has been bugging me to read the series before that one, so I think I might do that sometime soon!
