The Beautiful and the Cursed sounds like a cool book to read. Cutting Room Floor is something I would read too. Happy Reading.

I also got The Truth About You & Me and I can’t read it yet since it is awhile until it comes out but I took a peek at the first page and I am already intrigued. I’ve heard interesting things about Captive In The Dark and plan to read that sometime. Happy reading!

I’m so excited to read Game Set Match after your review! AM so not a sports person but Kuroko no Basket showed me that I could enjoy these kind of books even then. πŸ˜€

Captive in the Dark is darkly intriguing, I hope you enjoy it!

  4. Ali Ginger-Read

I have Captive in the Dark but have not had the time to get to it. Doh! I hear amazing things about it though. I love the cover for The Truth About You & Me ~ too sweet, I think I’m getting a cavity just looking at it.

  5. J. Anne Huss

That Captive in the Dark series was so freaking intense! It was like a train wreck you just can’t stop looking at. Seriously, seriously good in a very dark and disturbing way.

I saw The Cutting Room Floor on NetGalley and had to keep myself from requesting it. I seriously don’t need anymore e-galleys! And I am pretty excited for The Beautiful and the Cursed. πŸ™‚

    Happy reading, Giselle!

I saw the um.. The Beautiful and The Cursed cover via Instagram when you got it. It’s so prettyyyhhhh!! I love it! Oh, and Captive in the Dark? Hehehheee.. I didn’t read it correctly, I read very, very diagonally, but I can tell you that.. Um.. The main girl Olivia – she’ll probably get on your nerves. The story itself is compelling and very raw, but I’m not 100% sure it’s a story for you. I may be wrong entirely though. I hope you’ll like it:-) P.S. I love the cover for the third book – that’s insanely beautiful.

Yay for The Cutting Room Floor and The Beautiful and the Cursed! I’m really looking forward to those two, so can’t wait to hear what you think. Have a lovely Sunday, Giselle. πŸ™‚

So much awesome this week!! OMG Captive in the Dark!! I almost got that for you, but wasn’t sure if you would want it. I still haven’t read it yet. I got it because Jenni said it sounded awesome! I heard the second one is great too. SO yeah, I’m babbling. You had a great week. Enjoy all your awesomeness!

  10. Melanie

The Beautiful and the Cursed… *cue squealing* That cover and the synopsis have me already preordering this one. I really do hope it doesn’t disappoint, otherwise it’ll be one of those books with epic covers and lame stories :/

Awesome haul the Giselle! Enjoy them all!!

  11. Micheline D

I am still drooling over your copy of The Beautiful and the Cursed!! Sigh β™₯ Oh and book 2 of the diaper series, can’t wait to read your thoughts on that one haha Congrats on all of these & happy reading πŸ˜€

Very nice haul. I will be at BEA as well. I’m going on a buying ban after this past week, because I need to make room for all my new pretties. Great haul. The Beautiful and The Cursed looks so pretty.

Cutting Room Floor sounds a bit creepy, but I hope it’s in a good way! The Truth About You and Me sounds like a great contemporary read. And The Beautiful and the Cursed sounds totally ah-mazing. The cover is gorgoeus, and it’s a GOTHIC novel. What else could you want in a book?!

Lovely haul, Giselle, and I hope you enjoy all your awesome new books! <3

I felt iffy about asking for the ARC for The Cutting Room Floor. I might let you take the bullet and see what you think about it before I invest in a copy.

    Awesome haul this week!

  15. Maja (The Nocturnal Library)

The Beautiful and the Cursed looks absolutely fabulous. I hope this is not one of those cases where we all get seduced by a very pretty cover and end up sorely disappointed.
    Looking forward to your review.
    Enjoy them all, Giselle!

I snagged Truth About You and Me too and couldn’t help diving into it immediately… I really loved the start but I had other book priorities. Especially considering this comes out in like 5 months. lol Oooh… I have a copy of Captive in the Dark too. Sounds quite crazy, saving that one for when I’m in the mood though. Have you read Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas? Similar to that I believe. Sure wish I was going to BEA.. hope you girls have tons of fun!

I thought about requesting some of those Flux books, but I decided to pass since I was so far behind. I will live vicariously through you, and if they are good, I will buy them. Ha!

Also, I hope The Beautiful and the Cursed is good!

  18. Christina

Oooh, you got Diaper 2: Electric Boogaloo!

Also, I’m curious about the others, though I still think the cover for The Beautiful and the Cursed is hilarious.

  19. Nereyda @Mostly YA Book Obsessed

The Beautiful and the Cursed looks amazing! Or it could be that gorgeous cover trying to trick me.
Ah and it makes me happy to see that a couple of people in your comments have read or heard of Captive in the Dark! That’s my β€˜I wish everyone would read this’ book. And I agree with Ashley. The first one is really REALLY good but the second one blew me away! I was like WHOA! WTF is happening! These books are intense and I can’t wait to see what you think of them πŸ™‚ Enjoy your books!
