Recap: To C2E2 and Beyond

If you live in the Chicago area you’ve probably heard of C2E2 but for those of you that haven’t. C2E2 or Chicago Entertainment and Comic Expo happened April 21st-23rd and was basically a weekend of geeking out over comics, TV shows, books, etc. Also known as the event where you want to be if you were in the area-ish. Two weeks before C2E2 was set to happen, I had no idea I would be attending, never mind getting to meet a blogger friend. As a scrounged to make plans, I got more and more excited. This would be my first time attending the expo and I had only heard good things.

Whoooo! Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday and new year’s eve. I’m currently on vacation so things are fab, here. First I just want to thank all my followers and bookish friends for being generally awesome and supportive and easily the best part of this blogging experience for yet another year. I hope 2015 is just as wonderful! Even though there’s been some drama in the book world this past year, I don’t let it get me down and try to focus on the people who rock it in this community – which is most of you, really. We can’t get the bad apples ruin in! Let’s take 2015 by the balls… or whatever >.<

Hi everyone! So in case you were a total hermit under a rock you know that it was BEA last week, and I was totally there! This was my second year and it was just as exciting and incredible as the first time. I met even more bloggers, I saw an awesome list of authors and even celebrities, and I got home with an intense stack of books. Definitely a successful BEA experience!
