@Jen: But that's the thing, see. It started out creepy and awesome, then it turned into a romance novel (suspiciously similar to Twilight). So yeah. Bee-buhr! >.<
ReplyDeleteI'm really jealous of The Evolution of Mara Dyer and The Raven Boys. And The Treachery of Beautiful Things has a gorgeous cover! Cinder is really good. Hope you enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI want to punch my own eyeballs because it would feel better than the pain I feel that Netgalley STILL hasn't approved me for The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and I CAN'T... GISELLE, I can't EVEN begin to tell you how much I want to read this book. Love it well, for the both of us while I wait in torment over whether or not I'll receive approval for this galley, which will also validate me as a blogger since I require approval from netgalley and connecting publishers to feel good about myself xDDD LOVE YOUR HAUL!
ReplyDeleteAnd, BRO, whaddup with not reading Cinda ;-D? YOU NEED TO GET ON THAT. Like, ASAP. I mean it.
The Treachery of Beautiful Things looks amazing :) Great vlog!

Great stuff! :)
ReplyDeleteI've had Cinder on my shelves since its release and still haven't sat down with it. As for My Super Sixteenth Century, that looks really promising.
I never read Mara Dyer, but I remember reading *about* it, because the idea did interest me, and the complaints I heard pushed it down my list. Either way, though, hopefully you'll like the sequel more then you liked the original. You're braver then me -- I can't handle trying to read more of stuff I didn't like.
Anyway, I hope the coming week is just as good to you as this one has been. :)
My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century, Ahhhh. I can't wait to read that one and read your review as well. Awesome haul this week, Giselle. I hope you enjoy everything ;)
