@Jen: But that’s the thing, see. It started out creepy and awesome, then it turned into a romance novel (suspiciously similar to Twilight). So yeah. Bee-buhr! >.<

I want to punch my own eyeballs because it would feel better than the pain I feel that Netgalley STILL hasn’t approved me for The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and I CAN’T… GISELLE, I can’t EVEN begin to tell you how much I want to read this book. Love it well, for the both of us while I wait in torment over whether or not I’ll receive approval for this galley, which will also validate me as a blogger since I require approval from netgalley and connecting publishers to feel good about myself xDDD LOVE YOUR HAUL!

And, BRO, whaddup with not reading Cinda ;-D? YOU NEED TO GET ON THAT. Like, ASAP. I mean it.

  4. Kristilyn (Reading in Winter)

MARA DYER!! So jealous. πŸ™‚ My Super Sixteenth Century looks very cute! I’ve heard awesome things about Maggie Stiefvater, so The Raven Boys should be good … Cinder looks good, too!! I haven’t read it, so you’re not the last one! πŸ™‚

I think the crows would be a bad sign if one smashed into your window when you pointed it out … I think you’re good!

    Enjoy your reading!

Cinder is AMAZING. I’m glad that you were able to get a copy of The Treachery of Beautiful Things in spite of all the hassle you went through to get it. Hope you enjoy all your books! I also received SEND and THE RAVEN BOYS and am looking forward to them.

  17. Amy

Haha I love your vlogs. You are so cute. I don’t think that the crows are a bad omen. Sometimes they are protective right? Lol!! You aren’t the only one who hasn’t read Cinder. I haven’t either. I actually bought it in January when it came out and haven’t gotten around to it. We should read it together haha!!

  18. Kathy Ann Coleman

    Great stuff! πŸ™‚

I’ve had Cinder on my shelves since its release and still haven’t sat down with it. As for My Super Sixteenth Century, that looks really promising.

I never read Mara Dyer, but I remember reading *about* it, because the idea did interest me, and the complaints I heard pushed it down my list. Either way, though, hopefully you’ll like the sequel more then you liked the original. You’re braver then me — I can’t handle trying to read more of stuff I didn’t like.

Anyway, I hope the coming week is just as good to you as this one has been. πŸ™‚

  19. Jennifer

I’m so distracted by your bangs. Hahaha!S orry, I know it’s weird. I’ve been trying to sport that style a few years ago but my hair is too limp and flat, it looks like I got stuck in the rain or something. I’m jealous that yours look great. Darn it! LOL.

Anyway, I hope you get to read Cinder soon. Love it! I’m also curious about My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century. Enjoy all you books!
