SUMMER IS HEEEEERE! WHOOO! How’s everyone feeling? I’m finally getting after this mother of a flu – hence the skipped Fresh Batch post last week and general absence from the online world. What am I doing staring at Jenni’s mug when it’s supposed to be Fresh Batch day?!” I apologize for the disappointment, I do. Unfortunately Giselle is sick and even sitting on the computer makes her feel like barfing. Seriously, she said to let everyone know that “Fresh Batch might not happen this weekend because barf.” Her words exactly, I swear. I figure many of you are still recuperating from BEA. I almost need a vacation from that vacation >.< I did a recap post both on the blog here, and a Facebook photo recap here as well if you missed it. So today is the day that the BEA hype will start to taper off a little bit. I had so much fun watching all the fun on Twitter and Instagram and I even got to feel included by some very special people who decided to spoil me a little bit (I’m lookin’ at you Lyn, Kara & Giselle!) Hello! In the past two weeks my mailbox has been in credibly lonely but it did manage to score one goodie in the form of The Art of Getting Stared At by Laura Langston. When I saw this one in an email from Penguin Canada I thought it sounded right up my alley so a big thank you to them for sending it out to me!
